Episode 223: Beebe Bahrami

This week I sit down with Beebe Bahrami who is an award-winning travel writer and anthropologist. Beebe wrote a beautiful book called "The Way of Goose: Three Pilgrimages Following Geese, Stars, and Hunches on the Camino de Santiago." We discuss her book that is a travel narrative, adventure story, and a spiritual pilgrimage. Beebe opens up about the power of the Camino and its ley lines that she described as "imbued by the human imagination." She shares the transformational power of the Camino--how everyone walking it becomes an explorer and an alchemist.   Through her own camino's she found that the goose was very likely an ancient Eurasian earth-centered mother goddess who took many forms but the goose was among her most prominent forms. This ties into goose vision, which Beebe's states "is burning off base influences of the ego to bring up and reveal the luminous, gold of your spirit."  To learn more about Beebe head over to website and pick up her book here. You can also pick up her travel companion guidebook "Moon Camino de Santiago--Sacred Sites, Historic Villages, Local Food & Wine" here
